About

Has life become unmanageable? Are you struggling with relationships, feeling low and overwhelmed? Do you have no idea why you feel this way? At times life  can become overwhelming.  You are not alone, we all have times when we feel we cannot control or understand our emotions resulting in behaviours that confuse us. At Hear to Help we can offer a warm, safe space for you to explore what has been going on and help gain the strength to choose how to move forward.

We are professionally qualified integrative counsellors, trained to work in a humanistic way using  Person-Centred , Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis theories.  We can offer in person , on-line or telephone counselling. Our beautiful garden rooms in Crayford and Dartford, offer a tranquil, warm, supportive and friendly atmosphere for you to develop and change.

We have experience working predominately with anxiety, grief and bereavement, depression, traumatic life events, addiction, autism and ADHD. We are able to offer sessions to all age groups.  We are Hear to Help.  We can help you to unknot your emotions and make sense of your thought processes and way of being.

Sophie

As well as our private practice I currently work as a counsellor in a local hospice with patients, carers and the bereaved. I have also worked in a community based counselling service where I have supported clients struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, low moods, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, trauma and a whole range of issues.
Before embarking on my counselling career I worked for 12 years with children on the Autistic Spectrum and with behavioural issues which gave me a great understanding of everyday struggles.

Alongside Hear to Help I also work as a counsellor in a local children's hospice, supporting parents, carers and loved ones.  I have previous experience of counselling in an adult hospice with patients, carers and the bereaved. As well as pre and post bereavement counselling I have experience of counselling in an addiction rehabilitation centre helping people struggling with addictions. Also I have worked for a local based counselling service working with anxiety, domestic abuse, depression, low moods, body image concerns and a range of other issues.
